How to bash metal.

It is my opinion that a person can teach them selves anything they want to learn if they try.  I do not believe that I can teach everything you need to know.  So I must at this point tell you that I am not comfortable teaching a basic metal smithing class over the web as I am not that good at it.  I know... "oh Ichiban You are the lord of all things and your skill is infinite.... Please teach us the way".   Sorry I have seen way to many broken fingers (mostly my own) to attempt to teach metal smithing over the net.    I will tell you the greatest place to learn this information for free,  go to the www.sca.org and talk with the fine people in your local area.   What is the sca? well it stands for The Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.  The have a lot of experience in the realm of European plate armor.  Once you get good at that you can for japanese looking armor like there is no tomorrow.    Although I am not a member of the SCA I  have great respect for the group.   If you are lucky you can might have a chapter of the Genji.
